| A Luck Roll is only used in gambling (Yes, you may gamble away your money with other characters) and basically, the generic system is rolling dice. Whoever rolls the best die (MUST use Luck Roll die) wins the pot. The thing is, people can cheat too...but if caught they are screwed so to say. Usually when someone cheats, they are dueled and probably killed.
The Luck Skill helps out your gambling needs, and is fairly simple. You take your Luck stat and divide that number by 5, then add the end result to your die roll. The thing is, you don't HAVE to do this. This is considered cheating, and if you roll over a 12 in doing it this way you are presumed to have been caught by another character.
During the gambling, people pay to play and the winner takes all. Losers, however, tend to be sore losers and fight the winner no matter what. Another way to cheat is to bring rigged dice (Must be bought at the store.) These dice allow you to either add your ENTIRE luck stat to the roll, a portion of your luck stat to the roll, OR allow you to subtract from the roll. All of which only occur when you are rolling, however, and if you win too often someone can call you out. When called out, and proven guilty, a challenge is initiated. A challenge is a one on one duel, where the C-O-P-S can break up. In order to have the challenge go on without the C-O-P-S breaking it up, you need to roll a general roll. Then, if your general roll is more then an admin, who does not have anything to do with the gambling post/challenge, then the challenge goes on. If not, then the C-O-P-S come in and break up the fight. | |
