Close Combat:
In close combat fighting, you don't need to roll a to hit roll if the other player/NPC is NOT dodging. If one dodges you roll off, whoever has a better hit or dodge roll gets it!. (For each 20 speed stat on their character, the person dodging gets +1) its really about power and your wound rolls. For each 20 power stat, you get +1 on your wound roll. On a wound of a 6, you get critical wounded.

PLUS, your close combat skill dictates who actually chooses who makes the first move. If you have the higher stat, then you get to choose.

Remember, if your wearing armor and get wounded, you get to roll against the wound roll. Whoever has a higher roll wins!

Stealth Kills:
If equipped with a knife of any grade, and the opponent's back is turned and has not become alert of your presence, you may roll a stealth roll to see if you kill him/her silently. Then, the other character (ALWAYS A NPC) involved rolls a spotting roll to see if you have made noise or something along those lines. If you roll higher (+1 for each 10 stealth stat for your roll, +1 for each 10 intellect and then +1 for each 10 accuracy stat for their roll) then you can take out the enemy without a problem! Note: Stealth kills may NOT be made on other characters. NOTE: you have to be in close proximity (distance) with the target and must either have a knife or a silenced gun to kill them.

Ranged Combat:
In ranged combat, whether your getting shot at or shooting, you must roll to hit unless your in knifing distance. A roll of a 6 to hit is an instant kill for NPC's (headshot). If your using a pistol or anything that isn't an assault rifle/sniper, you can only shoot up to the distance of a quarter of a soccer field (25 yards). For each 10 yards, you get a -1 modifier to your to hit roll. You always hit on a roll of a 3 or higher AFTER the modifiers are put into play, and a roll of a 1 always misses.

Pistols have a clip of 10 bullets before reloading.

Assault rifles work similarly, but the distance is upped. It can shoot up to the size of a football field (100 yards), but for every 50 yards you get a -1 modifier. Rolls of a 3 or higher always hit after the modifiers.

Assault rifles (which in this case includes SMGs like the custom stores uzi) have 30 bullets per clip.

Sniper Rifles are the weirdest so far, and can shoot up to a 500 yards away. The issue is, the weather can knock the bullet off course after 100 yards. For example, a 5 MPH wind gust would make the bullet curve away just enough for a shot between the eyes to miss. Sniper Rifles hit on a 3 or higher roll after the modifiers, and always get a head shot on a roll of a 6 no matter what negatives there are. Snipers always miss on a roll of a 1, so don't even think about it.

Snipers have 4 bullet clips.

No matter what, if you turn around and fire it counts as hip firing, which in turn leads to -1 on the to hit roll. When in this panic, which is normally when the other person fails his/her stealth roll, they are allowed to try and dodge out of the way just as in close combat.

More INFO:
Your JOB dictates what weapons your good with. If a weapon isn't listed on that list then you get a -1 modifier for using it unless your within 5 yards of the target. Unless your hip firing, in turn you will receive a -2 modifier.

Equipment NOT listed on your JOB are not available for you (except light armor and sound makers, which are available to all. The sound maker MUST be a silencer, or else you cannot use the special ones that are listed.) Equipment are Jammers and armor and other NONE GUN OR WEAPONRY type of thing.

WOUND Rolls in ranged Combat:

Its easy. This is strictly for NPC's

If you roll a 6, INSTANT KILL! MUAHAAAHA (AKA a critical Hit, all critical hit stats really just amplify the Player versus Player fighting.)

On a roll of a 5 they go down on the ground, and are bleeding out.

Roll of a 4, you hit them in the gut and are bleeding heavily.

Roll of a 3, you hit them in a limb (like arm or leg) and they have a wound in that area. Roll another die to see if its an arm or a leg (1-3 for arm, 4-6 for leg)

Roll of a 2, they get hit in somewhere where it hurts, but doesn't really effect them much besides some pain and a little bleeding.

Roll of a 1, CONGRATS! you hit their clothing and the bullet didn't do anything! Very Happy your a champ!

If your at close range to the person, such as within 5 yards, you get a +1

Close Combat (Blades, Knives, etc) wounds

Roll of a 6: instant death

Roll of a 5: Gut shot or other heavy damaging area, causes enemy to fall to the ground bleeding out

Roll of a 4: Knock the wind out, basically the enemy gets disoriented and will fight worse

Roll of a 3: Scar/broken bone: Discomfort and less of close combat capabilities

Roll of a 2: A scratch or a bruse: Nothing too much, just annoying

Roll of a 1: Congrats! You gave the enemy a booboo! (AKA nothing)
